İlan Detayları This national UN Volunteer assignment is a local post for Nationals of Turkiye who are 27+ years old with minimum 3 years of experience.Application Link:https://app.unv.org/opportunities/1754925817894144Assignment Title:Program AssociateDuty Station:GaziantepContract Type:United Nations Volunteers UNV - National UN Volunteer SpecialistHost Entity:UNICEF GaziantepEligibility:Local post for Nationals of TürkiyeMinimum Requırements: 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor Degree Ages 27+Required language: Fluency in Turkish and EnglishContract Duration:12 months with the possibility of extensionExpected Start Date:Mid-May 2024Number of Assignment:1 National UN VolunteerThis UNV assignment is to provide programmatic support at the field level to the UNICEF Turkey’s Multisectoral partnerships, focusing on assessing the protection needs of Syrian refugees and host community as well as facilitating the implementation of quality and timely Early Childhood Development, Emergency Response and AAP/Safeguarding at the respective assigned provinces.Task description: Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Emergency Officer or his/her designated mandated representatives, Program Associate will undertake the following tasks:➢ Support to programme development, planning and execution: Compile data and information on the UNICEF supported Programme activities in the respective assigned provinces to facilitate preparation of reports, working papers, and presentationsSupport the implementation of communication plans for partnership activities as neededAssist the development of appropriate communication and information products related to programmesContribute to the preparation of reports, programme documents and submissions by providing information, preparing tables and other documentsWhen required, participate in relevant inter-agency meetings, and share meeting highlights with the office.➢ Support to monitoring and reporting of programme results: Contribute to the design and preparation of monitoring activities of assigned programmes in the Child Protection sector in Southeast TurkeyUndertake regular program field visits and exchange information with partners/stakeholders to gather the necessary information to assess progressReport on critical issues, bottlenecks, challenges, and delays, for UNICEF and partners to take timely action to achieve resultsProduce regular and timely reports on monitoring resultsOrganize data and information, prepare, and maintain records, documents, and control plans for the monitoring of programme implementationPrepare and maintain records, documents, and control plans for the monitoring of project/programme implementationSupport partners in their progress report submissions and undertake report reviewsFollow–up with and track the delivery of supplies provided to partners and report on their utilization.➢ Support in knowledge management and capacity building: Gather and share information to document good practices and new programme approachesSupport the organization of technical trainings for UNICEF partners.➢ Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisorRequired experience: 3 years of experience in /at the national and/or international level in planning and management of child protection, social development, or other relevant programmesDemonstrated familiarity with and knowledge of the basics of Child RightsDemonstrated knowledge and experience in working with vulnerable groups and gender issues: women, children, and marginalized groups is an assetExperience in Monitoring & Evaluation, and field experience, are assetsExperience working in UN or other international development organization, with emergency and humanitarian response is an assetLanguages Required: Good written and spoken EnglishKnowledge of Arabic will be considered as an assetAccuracy and professionalism in document production and editingExcellent interpersonal skills;
