HSE Specialist

On behalf of our global business partner—a world-leading player in port operations and logistics—we are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist for their Yarımca Terminal. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a proactive safety culture while driving compliance with local legislation, international standards, and global HSE frameworks.

Manage Inventory, inspections, compliance, and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

Coordinate emergency preparedness, including response plans, drills, and follow-up improvement actions.

Monitor compliance with Turkish OHS legislation, international port safety standards, and internal corporate procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Lead or support risk assessments, incident/accident investigations, and root cause analyses (RCA).

Oversee contractor HSE compliance, documentation, HSE committee meetings, and performance tracking.

Prepare comprehensive HSE reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate closely with operational teams and external stakeholders to embed a strong safety-first culture.

Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.).

Mandatory: Fluent command of English (both written and spoken) for global corporate reporting and stakeholder management.

Mandatory: Minimum B-Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate.

Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, preferably within port/terminal operations, logistics, or high-risk industrial environments.

Strong command of Turkish OHS Legislation (Law No. 6331) and international standards.

Proven experience in risk management, incident investigation, emergency response, and contractor safety management.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.

Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
