Vision Systems & Automation Expert

As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Vision Systems & Automation Expert " with the below requirements for our international manufacturing client. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement machine vision solutions for manufacturing, testing, and assembly systems. Design, optimize, and standardize vision architectures, image-processing algorithms, and inspection concepts. Analyze technical requirements and assess the feasibility of vision, software, and automation solutions. Create technical concepts, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility studies for new technologies and applications. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, IT, Maintenance, and external suppliers throughout project execution. Support the development of scalable and reusable software components and automation architectures. Lead commissioning, validation, optimization, and continuous improvement activities for vision systems. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in industrial vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Contribute to global standardization and knowledge-sharing initiatives across manufacturing sites. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience with industrial vision systems, image processing, and automated inspection technologies. Experience in automation systems and PLC programming. Knowledge of software development and programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++. Understanding of machine vision integration within manufacturing environments. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation architectures. Experience in system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience working in cross-functional and international environments. Good command of English. NICE TO HAVE Experience with AI-based vision applications and machine learning. Experience with databases and traceability systems. Knowledge of machine safety, validation, and risk assessment. Experience with global manufacturing projects.
