Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a “Senior Software Test Automation Engineer” for our global client, who is developing product in tourism industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software test automation experience, including QA methodologies
• Experience with common Java test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Gauge, REST Assured) is a plus
• BSc or MSc in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Excellent understanding of existing test automation frameworks
• Experience in writing test automation strategy and test plans
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience in API automation tests
• Experience with Java/Javascript programming languages
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• Fluent English in both verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Reviewing software requirements and specifications to develop an automated testing strategy for a product or release
• Writing and running new test cases for the verification of new product features
• Executing automated test scenarios for functionality, regression, integration, etc.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scenarios
• Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications
• Analysing and reporting the test results and logging test outcomes
• Documenting test automation features or team processes as needed
• Reporting test progress and status, doing defect tracking and risk assessment
• Learning new technologies and apply to projects as needed
