Senior Airport IT Systems Application Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Airport IT Systems Application Engineer for our client for whom we provide consulting services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex multi-vendor environments
• Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems, including configuration, implementation, and administration
• Hands-on experience with Linux Server and Client operating systems
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL administration
• Knowledge of IBM MQ, IBM IIB, and IBM Datapower technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent command of English
• Eagerness to stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Job Description

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Ensure the availability, performance, and maintenance of business-critical applications and systems
• Analyze system errors, review logs, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Identify, analyze, and document business requirements and support system enhancement activities
• Proactively monitor services and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they impact operations
• Take ownership of incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities in line with company standards
• Conduct preventive maintenance and continuous monitoring of systems and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and operational efficiency
• Support the delivery of reliable and high-quality IT services within a mission-critical environment.
