We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist (10-Month Fixed-Term Contract) for our global client, a world-leading company operating in the optical and eyewear industry. The role will be based in Akyurt, Ankara, with a hybrid working model following the onboarding period.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting functions.
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting legislation and tax regulations.
• Fluent or upper-intermediate level of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP knowledge is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in manufacturing environments will be considered an advantage.
• Perform daily general accounting activities in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Support monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare customer and supplier reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist in the preparation, control, and submission of tax declarations and statutory reports.
• Manage import and export accounting transactions and related documentation.
• Process and record supplier invoices, including overseas vendor invoices.
• Support e-Invoice, e-Archive, and e-Ledger processes, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
• Collaborate with audit firms and support tax and external audit processes.
• Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records within ERP systems.
• Work closely with local and international finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support various finance and accounting projects as assigned by management.
