Cansel Çift İşkinat is looking for a full-time English Teacher to join our academic team in Reyhanlı, Hatay.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and communicative teacher who has an excellent command of English and is passionate about creating an engaging, student-centered learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teaching English to students from different age groups and proficiency levels
• Planning and delivering engaging, interactive, and communicative lessons
• Teaching and developing all four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing
• Supporting students in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication
• Preparing lesson plans and supplementary classroom materials
• Using interactive teaching techniques, games, projects, speaking activities, and digital learning tools
• Using educational platforms such as Wordwall, Kahoot!, Quizlet, Canva, and similar tools when appropriate
• Monitoring students’ academic progress and providing constructive feedback
• Conducting level-appropriate assessments and evaluations
• Encouraging students to use English actively and confidently in the classroom
• Creating a positive, supportive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
• Maintaining effective classroom management
• Cooperating with the academic team and participating in teacher meetings and academic planning
• Following the institution’s curriculum, academic standards, and educational approach
• Communicating professionally with students, colleagues, and parents when required

Qualifications

• Native Turkish speaker with an excellent command of English
• Preferably a graduate of English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature, Translation and Interpreting, or a related field
• Strong English speaking and pronunciation skills
• Strong knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary
• Knowledge of CEFR levels and language proficiency standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to teach different age groups and proficiency levels
• Student-centered and communicicative teaching approach
• Creative and confident in preparing classroom activities
• Comfortable using technology and digital educational tools
• Responsible, punctual, organized, and reliable
• Energetic, positive, patient, and solution-oriented
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Open to professional development and new teaching methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in language schools or private educational institutions
• Experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults
• Experience in General English and CEFR-based programs
• Ability to design speaking-focused and activity-based lessons
• Familiarity with communicative, task-based, and interactive teaching methods
• Experience with smart boards and digital classroom applications
• Strong lesson-planning and material-development skills
