General Manager

We are seeking a General Manager for a global company operating in the manufacturing sector, for which we provide consultancy services.

Job Description

• Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and budgets to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Align the business unit’s activities with the overall goals of the group.
• Provide leadership and direction to all departments to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
• Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Develop and manage the business unit’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Monitor financial performance, including profit and loss, and take corrective measures to address variances.
• Optimize resource allocation and cost management to maximize profitability.
• Drive sales growth and market expansion by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Ensure efficient production processes and high-quality standards are maintained.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production capabilities and product quality.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to address any quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO on business performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MBA is preferred.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive role, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Knowledge of the industry and market trends relevant to the business unit.
