İlan Detayları Background/IRC Summary:  The Syria crisis is often described as the worst humanitarian catastrophe since the end of the Cold WarToday, 13.4 million people in Syria - more than half of the country's population - are in need of humanitarian assistance with needs increasingly being exacerbated by economic declineOf these, 6.8 million are refugees and asylum-seekers who have fled the countryThis is no short-term humanitarian episodeThe devastating human consequences to huge numbers of people will endure for decadesThe destruction of relationships, communities, livelihoods, homes and infrastructure will take years to repair.IRC is offering a robust humanitarian response to the Syria crisis a rapidly expanding portfolio, supported by more than 1000+ staff in Syria Country ProgramIRC is undertaking programs in Syria and the neighboring countries of Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan in the fields of health, child protection, early childhood development, education, women’s protection and empowerment, non-food items and food distribution, cash assistance, water and sanitation, protection and rule of law, and livelihood programmingOur work in these challenging settings gives rise to some of the most pressing issues facing contemporary humanitarian action, including questions of access, security, funding and coordination.Job Overview/Summary:The ERD officer is responsible for Follow-up all ERD activities in NWS and Türkiye and will spend most of their time in coordination with the field team, prioritizing meetings with local communities, and taking part in ERD assessments and studiesThey will be based in the Gaziantep office and will work closely with the Health, ECD, and Protection, WPE, Finance, and Supply Chain to implement program activities.Responsibilities:Generic Responsibilities 70%Support in ERD implementation field team efforts and keep the direct supervisor aware of any urgent developments or updates throughout the process.Work closely with the Support team to efficiently manage ERD-related purchase requestsManage money transactions for purchases, drivers, incentive workers, and training, and provide reports to the direct supervisor on critical issues.Collaborate with the ERD information management officer to create detailed tracking tables and work plans for efficient information management within the department.Collaborate with IRC Logistics and Finance staff to support ERD program operations efficiently.Proactively communicate and coordinate with partners to maintain a positive working relationship and easy collaborationCoordination and representation 20%Maintain supportive and constructive relations with partner organizations, local authorities, and humanitarian actors.Attend field-level meetings when required and provide detailed reports.Close coordination with Food Security & livelihood FSL cluster, Cash working group CWG, and Early recovery and livelihood ERL cluster.Other duties 10%The supervisor assigned other duties to enable the implementation of the IRC programs.Raise Purchase requests as and when required.Work constructively within the team and take the initiative on new tasks.Coordinate with the M&E staff and the wider ERD team as necessary to identify program quality issues.Required Experience/qualification/Skills:Education:University degree in Agricultural or Environmental engineering, or any relevant field.Work Experience:Minimum 2 years previous experience working in economic recovery and livelihood programs, including cash-for-work activities, support for agricultural initiatives, vocational training, and partner management;
