Chief Agronomist

As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Chief Agronomist" with below requirements for our multinational client. Job Description Manage agricultural practices within the framework of Sustainable Tobacco Production (STP), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and Agricultural Labor Practices (ALP). Prepare, implement, and monitor action plans related to the Sustainable Tobacco Program (STP). Provide training and guidance to field technicians on STP standards and requirements. Monitor developments and innovations in the agricultural sector and ensure their effective implementation. Develop, implement, and continuously improve agronomy programs in line with objectives and customer expectations. Collaborate with the Agronomy team to monitor the progress of program activities, evaluate performance, and prepare regular reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Sciences, preferably specializing in Field Crops, Plant Protection, or Soil Science. Advanced proficiency in English. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong knowledge of tobacco production and cultivation practices. Solid understanding of agricultural crop production. Knowledge of advanced cultivation techniques. Knowledge of agricultural equipment management. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team leadership and management skills. Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities. Effective time management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Creative thinking and innovation skills.
