Assembly & Test Technician

The Assembly & Test Technician is responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and quality control of Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs). This role ensures all machine components are installed according to company standards and operate correctly prior to shipment and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install RVM components according to technical drawings, work instructions, and procedures.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, cable routing, and installation of electrical and electronic components, including Verification Units, Control Boxes, UPS systems, Modems, and Electronic Locks.
• Conduct functional testing, electrical safety checks, and quality inspections.
• Verify communication and connectivity between devices and the RVM control system.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults during assembly and testing processes.
• Maintain accurate assembly, testing, and quality documentation.
• Support inventory control activities and ensure proper use of materials and components.
• Pack, unpack, and apply protective foil wrapping to RVM units as required.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within office and warehouse facilities.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Experience in assembly, testing, maintenance, or repair of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, communication devices, and basic networking equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
• Valid Class B driving license.
• Forklift Operator Certificate with G-class endorsement on the driver's license.
