Accounting&Reporting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate, and consistent monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and Turkish GAAP.
• Lead the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Support and coordinate the monthly financial closing and reporting processes.
• Supervise and control the booking and recording of general accounting transactions.
• Manage year-end external audit processes.
• Manage financial risk by implementing effective control systems and monitoring key financial indicators.
• Ensure all relevant Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions comply with US GAAP requirements and Turkish tax legislation.
• Monitor and analyze accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
• Ensure audit requirements are met and appropriate internal controls are in place.
• Deliver accurate and ad-hoc financial analyses to support business needs.
• Manage and develop the directly reporting Accounting & Reporting Executive, including setting objectives, prioritizing workload, reviewing deliverables, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adequate supporting documentation, timely clearance of aged items, and appropriate follow-up on corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvements in accounting and reporting processes through standardization, automation, and stronger internal controls.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 7 years of combined accounting and finance experience, preferably within a multinational company and/or the FMCG sector.
• 3+ years of Big Four experience is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and reporting tools; experience with SAP, Power BI, and VBA is an asset.
• CPA certification is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
