Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Livelihoods Officers ( X2) to join our team. The Livelihoods Officers will play a crucial role in supporting business owners and entrepreneurs through the distribution of cash grants, coaching, and mentoring. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of business development, and a commitment to empowering individuals in Adiyaman community.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Identification of Appropriate Business Owners:

    • Conduct assessments to identify eligible business owners and entrepreneurs who can benefit from the program.
    • Analyze applicants' business proposals and financial needs to determine suitability for cash grants.
  2. Distribution of Cash Grants:
    • Coordinate the distribution of cash grants to selected beneficiaries in a timely and transparent manner.
    • Ensure compliance with program guidelines and financial regulations during the disbursement process.
  3. Coaching and Mentoring:
    • Provide personalized coaching and mentoring support to business owners to enhance their business management skills.
    • Develop training materials and workshops tailored to the specific needs of the beneficiaries.
  4. Field Visits:
    • Conduct regular field visits to monitor the progress of business activities and provide on-site support as needed.
    • Identify challenges and opportunities faced by beneficiaries and provide appropriate interventions.
  5. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Collaborate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of livelihood programs.
    • Establish partnerships with local organizations and businesses to create additional support networks for beneficiaries.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of beneficiaries, financial transactions, and program activities.
    • Prepare regular reports documenting the impact of the livelihood program and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Requirements: 
    • Proven experience in livelihood projects or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Turkish (C2 level). And good level of English or Arabic.
    • From Adiyaman or welling to be based in Adiyaman.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team 
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
