BHA, SCHF, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, IOM, CARE, GOAL, Save the Children, Global Communities, World Vision, DRC, WHH, Archenova, ChemonicsSeeking to save lives and alleviate human suffering through collaborative, local, and sustainable relief and development assistance, TAS believes that empowerment of women, adolescents, youth, and those who are physically and mentally challenged engage and become proactive in their communities through socio-economic sustainability, development and durable solutions, for a brighter futureTAS considers the teamwork and continuous learning values as actual institutional values that it applies in all departments by working to create the best work environment and encourage employees to continuously develop their capabilities.This position is being readvertised.Job title: Project Manager Job code: WSH - TR - MA - 096Number of vacancies: 1 Application start date: 06 March 2024.Application closure date:14 March 2024.Readvertisement:New applicants are being accepted from 03 May 2024 till 10 May 2024.Duration of the contract: 6 Months 2 months Probation with the ability of extension Location:  Gaziantep - TürkiyeAvailability to start: As soon as possible.Turkish Nationality is an AdvantageRole Purpose:The project manager will manage the implementation of activities related to the WASH and Shelter, follow up the implementation of construction activities, ensure the implementation of project activities according to the work plan and with the required quality, distribute and follow up the tasks of project staff in Syria, and writing the necessary project reports, in addition, to provide the necessary support for the WASH & Shelter program.Functional and organizational relationships:Responsible for managing and delivering project activities and budget, timely reporting, and monitoring and evaluating project achievementsThe Project manager reports directly to the Program Coordinator and is accountable to the Program Coordinator for the effective performance of all responsibilitiesIn the absence of a Program Coordinator leading the department, the Project manager reports directly to the Programs manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1Preparing the comprehensive implementation plans for the project.2Determine the necessary technical requirements for employees working in Syria in the fieldAnd interviewing candidates to establish the required field team.3Preparing/Participating, with the Program Coordinator to prepare relevant daily tracking schedules to follow up on project activities daily with the project team in Syria.4Day-to-day management of the field team in Syria to assign tasks appropriately and ensure that each person completes their task ahead of time with full accuracy and transparency.5Ensures the assignment and receipt of reports and documents from field staff.6Reviews and ensures the quality and adequacy of field staff reports before compilation and submission to anyone outside the organization eg donors, partners, and related entities.7Inform the program coordinator of any delay or potential issue and provide the necessary suggestions to address any challenge in project implementation and processing the revision requests.8Maintains securely all project-related records, reports, and documents.9Review all completion reports financial, logistical, HR, etcFor the project before they are sent to any party outside the organization.10Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual project performance reports and submitting them to the Program Coordinator.11Hold regular meetings with project field workers inside Syria to identify challenges and try to solve them independently.12Manage donor and project-related communications.13Coordinating with the MEAL team to develop the necessary plans to monitor activities.14Contribute to building networks and partnering with other agencies in line with the organization's objectives and goals, including governmental and non-governmental organizations and communities.15Provide the needed support in writing the project proposals.16Using program management tools will monitor project implementation on time, financial, and on scope basis;
